These Terms of Service (hereinafter "ToS") govern the access and use of the tiqopay platform (hereinafter "the Platform"), operated by tiqopay SARL AU, registered with the Casablanca Trade Registry, headquartered in Casablanca, Morocco.
By using the Platform, you accept these ToS without reservation. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use our services.
tiqopay is a trusted third-party (escrow) service that secures online transactions between Buyers and Sellers in Morocco. The Platform acts as an intermediary: it receives the Buyer's funds, holds them securely, and only releases them to the Seller after the Buyer confirms receipt of the goods or services.
To use the Platform, you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to contract under Moroccan law (Dahir of Obligations and Contracts). Legal entities must be duly registered in Morocco.
In accordance with anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing regulations (Law 43-05), tiqopay reserves the right to request identity documents (CIN, passport, RC, ICE) before authorizing certain operations or exceeding transaction thresholds.
You are responsible for the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
The Seller creates a payment link from their dashboard specifying the description, amount, and delivery deadline. The Buyer accesses the link and makes the payment.
Funds paid by the Buyer are held in a secure escrow account, separate from tiqopay's own accounts. Funds do not bear interest for the Buyer or Seller.
Funds are released to the Seller when the Buyer confirms receipt, or automatically upon expiration of the confirmation period (default 7 days after delivery declaration) in the absence of a dispute.
In case of a dispute, the Buyer may open a claim before the confirmation deadline expires. Funds remain frozen until the dispute is resolved. tiqopay acts as mediator. tiqopay's decision is binding for both parties.
In case of mutual cancellation, expiration without delivery, or dispute resolution in favor of the Buyer, funds are refunded. Refund processing typically takes 5 to 10 business days.
Registration on the Platform is free. Service fees are charged on each transaction according to the current pricing schedule, available on the Pricing page. Fees are, by default, borne by the Seller and deducted from the released amount. The Seller may choose to pass them on to the Buyer.
tiqopay reserves the right to modify its pricing. Changes apply to new transactions only and will be notified to Users by email at least 15 days in advance.
tiqopay acts as a technical intermediary and cannot be held liable for the quality, compliance, or delivery of goods or services exchanged. tiqopay is not a party to contracts between Buyers and Sellers.
tiqopay commits to using reasonable means to ensure the availability and security of the Platform, without obligation of result.
All elements of the Platform (trademarks, logos, text, source code, graphic interface) are the exclusive property of tiqopay and are protected by Moroccan and international intellectual property laws.
tiqopay reserves the right to suspend or terminate an account in case of ToS violation, suspected fraudulent activity, or at the request of a competent authority. Pending transactions will be processed before final account closure.
Personal data processing is carried out in accordance with Moroccan Law 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
These ToS are governed by Moroccan law. In case of dispute, the parties shall seek an amicable solution. Failing that, the competent courts of Casablanca shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
tiqopay reserves the right to modify these ToS at any time. Users will be notified at least 15 days before changes take effect. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the new ToS.
